ugh have you ever sat next to people who just so happen to be talking about a subject you know pretty much everything about and gOD EVERYTHING THEY’RE SAYING IS WRONG??? and all you can do is sit there, mumbling under your breath, correcting every little detail and praying to god you don’t bust out and school their asses.
Yeah this happened to me in one of my classes with Harry Potter. But I didn’t sit there quietly, I said “Excuse me, actually…” and corrected them… Oh well… Haha.
Great. Just perfect. I thought I was over torturing myself over what can never be again and what do I do? I go into the Rose/Ten tag. Why why WHY do I do this to myself?!
And then I see Eleven with River Song and I can’t help but feel this emptiness because as much as I want to I can’t make myself like her. I just can’t. I want to really really bad but I don’t see them fitting. Not the way the Doctor fit with Rose. And I don’t want to be one of those people who ships the Doctor anyway, but I can’t help it. And it’s over and it will never be revisited and I understand why but… it makes my heart hurt…

For you fellow makeup junkies, you know how hard it can be to find the puuurrfect shimmer eyeshadow. Well, I found it: Stila eyeshadow in ‘Kitten’. It’s absolutely the right shade to do that shimmer in the corners of your eyes to make them appear large, and give them a “glow”. You can tell in the second photo the boost of color and shimmer the right eye has as opposed to the left eye that only has primer.
It’s also great when do “pin up” style makeup and basic cat eye. *sigh* I’m in love.

Mmmmkay. First of all, go ahead and Google “Gender Dysphoria”. This is the condition that Tom Gabel has been struggling with for years. She truly believes that she should have been born a woman. Second, pronouns (as in, ‘he’ and ‘she’) are NOT necessarily directly correlated with biological sex. Pronouns, really, are entirely up to the individual, but I suppose they’re more closely related to the gender that person chooses to identify as. Gender is not biological. Let me make that even more clear—gender does not refer to whether you have a penis or a vagina. Not all people who have penises are men. Not all people who have vaginas are woman. Tom Gabel, an individual who has been suffering from gender dysphoria and has decided to become a woman, IS NOW A WOMAN. I know that’s hard to grasp, but just try. That means that surgery is NOT REQUIRED.
You questioned “at what point should things just be accepted”. Accepted? By whom? Why must someone’s every decision be accepted by everyone, even total strangers? Tom Gabel feels that she is finally becoming WHO SHE REALLY IS. The fact that you’re comparing gender reassignment to becoming a BIRD is just fucking bewildering to me. Were YOU the person who first compared gay marriage to marrying dogs?! Because seriously, this comparison is on the same plane. You do realize that we all start out as the same sex in the womb, right? And that only tiny shifts in hormones end up deciding ‘male reproductive organs’ over ‘female reproductive organs’?! YEAH, NOT EXACTLY COMPARABLE TO CHANGING INTO NOT ONLY A DIFFERENT SPECIES BUT A TOTALLY DIFFERENT KIND OF VERTEBRATE. People give themselves cancer by tanning their skin to look like leather, they take diet pills, they smear makeup all over their faces, they dye their hair, they have plastic surgery. WE ARE ALL ALLOWED TO MAKE THESE CHOICES ABOUT OUR OWN BODIES. Don’t question whether or not what Jane is doing is “acceptable” because it’s not your judgement to make.
Girl, obviously your knowledge of this topic is beyond limited—it’s non-existant. Do some research, PLEASE. I’d also like to mention that Against Me! is in the lineup for Riot Fest here in Chicago in September, and I’m going. SUCK ON THAT!
